GECKOS JOIN WITH EDWARD JONES TO STAMP OUT HUNGER
OCTOBER 16 - NOVEMBER 4

The GEA Student Council is collecting food items for the Sahuarita Community Food Bank! We have been invited to team up with the folks at EDWARD JONES to raise at least  30,000 pounds of food! We will be collecting food during Oct. 16 - Nov. 4. You may send it to school with your child. On Nov. 4 the GEA Student Council will deliver it to the EDWARD JONES office in the Safeway shopping center on Duval Rd. Student Council members are invited also to show up at Edward Jones on Sat, Nov. 5, to help weigh food and participate in their "Thank You" pancake breakfast.

Any non-perishable items would be appreciated. Here's a list of the Food Bank's most needed items:
